Welke telefoons verkopen het best in Amerika?
Apple blijft met 41,9% marktleider op de Amerikaanse smartphone-markt, aldus onderzoek van comScore. Samsung volgt op gepaste afstand. 69,6% van alle actieve telefoons in de US zijn overigens smartphones. Dit is iets lager dan bijvoorbeeld in ons land. Verrassend is het relatief hoge marktaandeel van zowel Motorola en HTC.

Hoewel Apple de best verkocht toestellen levert, heeft Android toch het grootste deel van de markt in handen. Net iets meer dan de helft van alle smartphones draait op dit besturingssysteem. iOS en Android samen hebben een marktaandeel van maar liefst 94%. Dat is nog eens marktdominantie. Windows Phone lijkt nog steeds geen voet aan de grond te krijgen en BlackBerry daalt razandsnel.
